Amotec is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our client's team near Scranton, PA. Our client is a global privately held manufacturer and has been in business for over 30 years. The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and monitor the overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and reduce overstock or stock shortages to optimize warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is typically required
- Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, often with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and strong analytical skills to optimize operations and solve complex supply chain issues
